I'm glad you arrived, please do come in.. I hope you enjoy my Homemade crafty items. Feel free to leave a comment and if you have any questions I'll do my best to reply. I've been having better luck with my Mojo but still have a tendency to get lost in the game. I lose my mojo and I just wait for some inspiration to hit and then I'll scrap again. I'm sure others know what I'm talking about. We just plain run out of ideas for a moment! Sooner or later things are kicking back into gear! YAY! For those that stop by and leave comments, I greatly appreciate it. Even stop by just to say Hi.. I will try to get back to your blog too. I hope you have a great day, I hope you enjoy your visit! Turn Back Time With Memories

This new layout is for my Mom's birthday,  this is a picture of her father, my grandfather.  I never got to met my grandparents as sadly they died very young.  My grandfather was 1 in a family of brothers, cousins and sons that went boating out on Lake Simco, Ontario, a bad storm rolled in and the boat sunk.  My grandfather drown, my mom's twin brother survived as well as a cousin.  But out of 7 people only 2 survived.  You often wonder WHY?  why didn't they have life jackets,   why so many for one boat.   My grandfathers body was found, in his wallet he had a large sum of money,  when the police found him, his wallet was emptied out.. expect for one penny, Which to this day sits in my closet.   So someone found him took his money and left.    Its unreal what some people would do.  I am not 100% sure of the date, the picture was not marked.  But I will get from my mom after I give this to her and change it if needed.    I don't think she will find my blog  lol but if she does by chance... well Happy Birthday Mom... Surprise!!

I have placed this layout in a brown wood shadow box and I'm pleased how well it looks together.  I'm trying to scrap out of my normal type, colors, and themes.  Browns, Reds, Orange, yellows are my least favorite colors, So to complete this with so much brown is a big accomplishment!     Thanks for stopping by  feel free to drop a message and say Hi.

Remember Me (Tribute to my sister Louise)

Nineteen years ago, 2 weeks after my youngest son was born, my sister, Louise,  passed away suddenly.  She lived her entire life with Marfan Syndrome which was the result to the end of her life.   Its been 19 years but it feels like yesterday.  To this day she is talk about in our family,  I try to tell my kids that don't remember things, what we did and what she was like.  My youngest son, Kyle, didn't even get the chance to get to know her so he has know idea, but as it is a surprise to me.. I see so much of Louise in Kyle.  I've had others say the same that he sure has alot of Louise in him.  Sometimes he'll be just sitting there watching tv and I just take a glance at him and see so much of Louise, I wonder what she would think..   I wish she was still here with us all..  She was only 35 years old with 2 kids.   Now she'd be a grandmother of 3!    I wonder what life would of been like if she just lived.

This layout is made for my Mom for her to put up in her shadow box.  I've put alot of love and care into this layout and I hope you enjoy my work.   Unfortunately the picture isn't the clearest, but one can't complain as we all should be happy we have pictures to remember our family members by.
Thanks for stopping by.
