I'm glad you arrived, please do come in.. I hope you enjoy my Homemade crafty items. Feel free to leave a comment and if you have any questions I'll do my best to reply. I've been having better luck with my Mojo but still have a tendency to get lost in the game. I lose my mojo and I just wait for some inspiration to hit and then I'll scrap again. I'm sure others know what I'm talking about. We just plain run out of ideas for a moment! Sooner or later things are kicking back into gear! YAY! For those that stop by and leave comments, I greatly appreciate it. Even stop by just to say Hi.. I will try to get back to your blog too. I hope you have a great day, I hope you enjoy your visit! Sweet Memories

Hi there.   Most everyone knows I love flowers, growing, planting and even making with paper, so when Scrap That decided to have a homemade flower layout challenge, it was calling for me!   I haven't done to many layouts lately and kinda feel my mojo was lacking.   What better way to try and find some of that mojo, then working on a layout that you enjoy the most.    Anyway, this is my finished outcome for the challenge.    I hope you enjoy it. I've entered a chipboard challenge at berry71bleu Pages So check this blog out, there are tons of talented people there!!  Thanks for stopping by, make sure you drop a message and say Hi!

These cute little bird houses are from Petaloo and the hanging bling is from Jolee's called  All That Bling.   They are so cute,  I have to thank my daughter, as she bought them for me as well as a purple package.   She knows me well, my favorite colors!

These  paper flowers were cut out on my cricut, using SVG files.   The white ones are bachelor buttons.  I decided to go with straight what as I was trying to go with 3 prominent colors, black, white, pink (with the touch of green to draw your eyes to them)   The gorgeous lace I bought online through ebay.

I tried to make this layout with multiple levels, giving it more of a 3D look.   These butterflies are made from feathers and do need to be handles gently.   This is diffinetly a layout that must be in a shadow box, because if I squished it inside the plastic sleeves the butterflies will be ruined.
However, you see I added those to my last chipboard album, front cover, but I decided to experiment with them and I used Aleene's Fast Grab on them.   Using my finger, I lightly coated the backside of the wings, doing this a couple times after drying between coats.   This helped alot and stopped the feather from "cracking".  Now the chipboard cover is more durable for handling.

If you stopped by, I'd love to hear from you.  Its good to know that someone does stop by, as I don't want to feel like I'm just wasting my time.  Or that my blog is enjoyable to come visit.  I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks again,  Happy scrapping
