I'm glad you arrived, please do come in.. I hope you enjoy my Homemade crafty items. Feel free to leave a comment and if you have any questions I'll do my best to reply. I've been having better luck with my Mojo but still have a tendency to get lost in the game. I lose my mojo and I just wait for some inspiration to hit and then I'll scrap again. I'm sure others know what I'm talking about. We just plain run out of ideas for a moment! Sooner or later things are kicking back into gear! YAY! For those that stop by and leave comments, I greatly appreciate it. Even stop by just to say Hi.. I will try to get back to your blog too. I hope you have a great day, I hope you enjoy your visit! Can you believe it I made card, my first one! .  I did not create the design, but seen other versions of shirt cards on the net, but can't remember all the places I've run across them.   Anyway, this is my version of a shirt card..  What's more sexy than a man in a suit and tie!  I made this for my Dad.   Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas In July

This is alittle altered item I did for a Christmas challenge over at Flying Unicorns  The challenge was to use gold, white and snowflakes.    Of course I had to add some leave to the white flowers..and some fluffy feather.    Hope you like my christmas ornament.

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY...... Love to hear from anyone that takes the time to visit.   I sure appreciate your visit to my blog and for the awesome comments I have had.   Thanks so much.

Beautiful Sunset

Hi there,

Today I'm sharing a layout more for the photo than the layout.  My son who's really has a talent with the camera, snapped this shot while waiting in line to dock our boat.  The Sun was setting and casting this beautiful spray of colors cascading from the water.  The pictures that he took are breathtaking.   I have to say I have a harder time with nature or male layouts but I have to do it to get better at it... so this is the layout of Kyle's outstanding photograph.  It will have special meaning for him when this layout is placed in his album, and he remembers this calm beautiful summer evening.

Thanks for stopping by.   I will be putting this into http://birdisthewordchallenge.blogspot.ca/ for the challenge word of Beyond.

Mother & Daughter Layout

Hi there.

I hope everyone is enjoying their July.  Our weather has FINALLY gotten warm!  Ya.. about time, before long and winter will be here.. ugh.    My Layout, All the flowers are homemade of course,  I have two kinds of ribbon, one satin, one a knitted type lace, as well I did some personal journaling to my Mom.
I'd love to hear back from anyone that stops by, please share your thoughts with me.
                                                                Thank you for the visit.

                                                                              Sherry

The little journalling tag is written to my mom and says :
I love you Mom with all my Heart
taken June 07

Just a close up of the some of the flowers.  I just love how the camera picked up the sparkle in the leaves this time.  Usually that never shows up.

I found this vintage heart at Magic MoonLight Free Images and I thought that this fit my design perfectly.  The print on the heart says You Inspire Me.  This is a perfect addition to my layout, even outlined in gold color! (one of the colors for Berry71bleu)

A True Beauty Layout

HI again,
Can you believe it I got another layout done! Of course the flowers are homemade, except the little pink roses.
This layout is a picture of Baylee, my son's girlfriend.  My mojo has kinda been hiding so I thought doing some layouts in my favorite color, Pink, would put a kick start to my scrapping.
Thanks for stopping in and taking a peek.  Stop in and say Hi while your here.  So nice to know I have visitors.

The main paper used is from Webster's Pages -  Your Life.  Beautiful
The second layer is a green cardstock with a smooth shiny surface.
The third layer is pink and is from Teresa Collins  -  Timeless
The fourth layer is from K&Company  Seasonal Paper pad.

This beautiful crystal I've had over a year,  (actually have two of them) and I haven't be able to put them on anything that deserves it.  Its so gorgeous when the sun catches it, it casts a room full of rainbow colors.  The chipboard is a piece from one of my Dusty Attic chipboard.  I wanted small flourish to fit the floral border. If your looking for Dusty Attic consultant in Alberta check out http://www.etsy.com/shop/vickyalberto  FAST shipping and problem free shopping!  Thanks Vicky for  getting in those two pieces I've been wanting.  I love them especially the biggest one!

There is another piece of Dusty Attic I used for the butterfly tail.  It fit perfectly for this layout.

This is Martha Stewart borders.  I love the embossing done on these borders, it adds so much character.

The butterflies on this layout is from K&CoMPANY - Tim Coffey  Grand Adhesions Dimensional Stickers.  They matched the paper so well. I just love it when a layout seem to fall together.   The two teeny butterflies are from K&Company as well - Serendipity

Thanks so much for stopping in and taking a peek. I hope you enjoyed my newest layout.
